![]() ![]() I've attempted to gather more information on the slow scan issue by watching the Webroot progress bar, CPU and Memory usage. I'd consider looking into the disk and CPU settings, as well as the detection. While it's possible that any of these issues could cause longer than average scans, the fact that we see all three combined go some ways to explain the issues here. More information on this message can be found here: This suggests that the system isn't operating at peak performance. Check with the computer manufacturer for updated firmware. Microsoft-Windows-Kernel-Processor-Power 6 - Some processor performance power management features have been disabled due to a known firmware problem. This can have an impact on interrogations of files lengthening the scan since the system thinks it's still potentially infected. I'm not seeing a quarantine DB, which suggests that you manually overrode these files. All over 20 minutes, the first scan included three detection's as well. However, if your new version is either Internet Security Plus or Complete (which do have the Password Manager feature) then once you have installed the Webroot version you will need to Open a Support Ticket, providing your current keycode, new keycode, emails address, explaining what you have done (you can include a link to this thread if you like so you do not have to retype the details above or my proposed solution) and ask them to transfer the keycoded data (from Password Manager) from one keycode to another. Whilst they have the same name the Best Buy/Geek Squad syupported product is different to the Webroot one (nothing major) so I would recommend that you uninstall the current version, REBOOT, and then clean install the one you purchased from Amazon (which I am assuming is the Webroot direct version rather than the Best Buy/Geek Squad version).Īs you are running the AV version (I am assuming that due to you posting in this forum) there will be no issues in relation to data keyed by keycode (I am assuming that you do not have the Password Manager in your current version) but if there is AND you are going to the Webroot AV version (which does not have the Password Manager feature) then your passwords will be lost. ![]()
